Eating In Pym's Kitchen At California Adventure

I'll be honest, I've never seen Ant Man. I can be selective about what Marvel movies I will sit through. Ant Man just didn't seem one that I'd enjoy, so I passed on it.

However, I knew I wanted to eat at Pym's Kitchen, which is a quick service spot, when we went to California Adventure. If you were not aware, California Adventure is located across from Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Pym's Kitchen is based on Ant Man where everything has either been enlarged or shrunk. You'll find it in Avenger's Campus. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The good news is, you can mobile order at Pym's Kitchen. This means you can skip the line, because sometimes it can get long.

It does look pretty cool on the outside:

The inside is neat as well. There is giant ketchup & mustard bottles, plus other cool details:

There is inside & outside seating.

We got the following:

The Proton Punch which is lemonade, berry puree, cherry-flavored boba, and grenadine filled pipette:

This was tasty and unique to look at. We would order it again.

Now, we decided we could use some extra caffeine so we got the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew. It was chocolate cookie cold brew with sweet cold foam.

It was...well, it tasted too much like coffee. And it's like, duh, it's cold brew COFFEE, but I was delusional and thought it was taste more like chocolate? If you're a fan of coffee, you'd probably enjoy this. It certainly does look delicious.

Food wise? Well, Tommy got the Quantum Pretzel and it was large. It came with sharp cheddar cheese beer sauce and oh my gosh, it was delish! We all loved it.

Natalie got the Pepper Particle Pasta which was campanelli pasta topped with grilled chicken, spicy tomato cream sauce, chimichurri and parmesan. This had a delightful flavor, but was too spicy for Natalie. I ended up switching my dish with her. I loved this pasta and would get it again but warning, if spicy foods aren't for you, avoid. Natalie didn't realize it would be THAT spicy.

I ended up getting the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich. It's a fried chicken breast, teriyaki, and red chili sauces and pickled cabbage slaw on brioche, served with crispy potato bites. Basically tater tots. But anyhow, this chicken was so good and amusing! You get this tiny bun and giant chicken. And yes, it's scrumptious. I'd suggest eating with a knife and fork though. But the flavors were there.

Oh, and even better, there are freestyle Coca-Cola machines so you can get as many refills as you'd like. If you need to fill water bottles, it's the perfect spot to do so.

We will return if we're ever in California Adventure again. Check out the menu here to see everything they have!

Would you eat at Pym's Kitchen?
