I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be proud of my son. He went to Austin to help shoot a movie and stayed in someone's house and everything. He has autism so sometimes change isn't always easy for him, but it seemed to go smoothly. And I hadn't a clue he was even IN Austin until he told me he was.
.....to be excited to see the Billy Joel concert on Friday with my Mom and Natalie. We love his music. Sting will be there too. I admit, I'm not as familiar with Sting, except for when Phoebe wanted Sting tickets in that episode of Friends.
......to also be excited to eat at Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que on Saturday. They have the best brisket!
....to love these costumes my daughter and her boyfriend put together. They've been dressing up in couples costumes for the month of October and this was obviously Lois Lane and Superman.
I can feel how proud are you with your son, doing his things without you is definitely a great achievement for him. I love the costumes of Lois Lane and Superman that Natalie and her boyfriend wear.
ReplyDeleteThat Billy Joel concert will be amazing I bet! I'd love to see him in concert. Sounds like your son is doing wonderful too. I love to hear of him doing so well.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter comes up with the most amazing costumes. I love that her boyfriend joins in with her.
ReplyDeleteYour son overcame a huge hurdle by going to someone else’s house. I can’t wait to hear more about the film he helped create.
ReplyDeleteI love your daughter and her boyfriend’s costume ideas too. They are very creative.
Aw their costumes are cute! I know my oldest daughter and her husband always dress up; I look forward to sharing more couple costumes for them to think over.
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of your son for stepping out of his comfort zone and making it to Austin; that's a big deal!
ReplyDeleteI really love how you are supporting your son in to what he wants to do. I am so happy you are both comfortable to do different things.
ReplyDeleteLove this so much and I would love to see Billy Joel! That will be a blast and my Mom always was in love with Sting,.. he is pretty awesome too so you should have an amazing time!
ReplyDeleteTwo days ago I purchased https://mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-60tbhd-17x15x53-inch-black-heavy-duty-trash-bags-50-cs/ bags for cleaning up after renovations and they were my best find. I would like to mention their size and durability - they are just perfect for handling heavy debris. Never once ripped, even when full of construction debris.
