I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to have taken the kids to Olive Garden for lunch so we could try the new Pizza Bowls. I'll be sharing my thoughts this week in a blog post.
....to be all, "Read a book," when my daughter says she's bored. It's Spring Break, so sometimes she says she has nothing to do and I'm all, "Read a book." I'm not one of those parents who entertain their children.
....to think it's crazy that Grey's Anatomy is letting go of two characters: Arizona and April. I honestly don't care much about Arizona, but I liked April's character--until they completely changed her.
....to be incredibly bored with The Walking Dead. When will it get interesting again? It seems so dreadfully slow-paced.
....to hope people RSVP for Natalie's birthday party at Main Event on Saturday. So far, only 3 people have. Do people even understand what RSVP MEANS anymore?
....to have bought this for Natalie's birthday more for my amusement.
People and RSVPs make me so angry!!! No one does it anymore.
ReplyDeleteI hate the whole RSVP thing. So frustrating. I hope you have a wonderful party! And reading a book is great.
ReplyDeleteI love that you make them read a book when they are 'bored'. I do the same. No you can't have an iPad until you buy one yourself...go build a fort and use your imagination like I did to cure boredom. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI just RSVPd this week because I was totally going to forget a birthday my son was invited. But at least I did it.
ReplyDeleteWhole RSVP thing is so frustrating. Anyway its ok.
ReplyDeleteI'm about done with Grey's. It's not even all that entertaining anymore. I hear they had to let go to actors because of the main character's pay raise.
ReplyDeleteLove your post and how you were able to pass across your message. I think some people don't really understand what RSVP means anymore.
ReplyDeleteI have been eyeballing those pizza bowls. I will keep my eyes peeled for your thoughts on them. They look wicked good.
ReplyDeletePooparoos seem like something my girl would like LOL. Love this post idea “hey, it’s okay”.
ReplyDeleteYour post made me laugh. That gift is hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteThe pizza bowls sound great! And I have an Olive Garden gift card from Christmas. Hopefully you'll get more RSVPs this week, so frustrating. Too funny about the Pooparoos. Hope the end result is pleasant!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Olive Garden in a long time. My hubby hates it there. We went there for Mother's day a year or 2 ago. I hate when people don't rsvp. It's pretty rude. When is her birthday?

We haven't been to Olive Garden to try out the new pizza bowls. I will await to see what you thought of them. Not RSVP is total rude and inconsiderate. Do they not know what it means.
ReplyDeletei surely agree with you about Walking Dead! They surely need to amp it up! and im loving this serious, it is better than Walking Dead lol!
ReplyDeleteI saw something about those pizza bowls just yesterday! They look good - can't wait to hear what you think about them!
ReplyDeleteOMG YES on the whole Grey's Anatomy thing! I can't believe they're letting them both go! And I agree with you, I liked April before they made her crazy, lol.
ReplyDeleteYES! It is okay. As for Greys, I have been watching from the beginning and am disappointed that they are both leaving. I really wish they would have gone in a different direction with both characters.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun toy to buy for her birthday! It's really interesting. I haven't watched TWD in a long time and I didn't know about Grey's Anatomy losing two characters.
ReplyDeleteI am not an avid current watcher of Grey's Anatomy but I've been attempting to catch up and will miss Arizona and April! And TWD has gotten SO boring, ugh, I need something to drastically change.
ReplyDeleteI'm really sad to lose April and Arizona in Grey's Anatomy as well. I have a feeling that they will kill April off, which I'm absolutely dreading!
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched Grey's Anatomy in a while. I kind of stopped watching when Yang left, I liked April's quirkiness, sad to hear they changed her, Arizona used to irritate me. Sad to hear they are letting April go though
ReplyDeleteTotally hate it when the people don't RSVP! It's makes the whole planning a little more stressful. Anyway, I do hope Natalie enjoys her birthday, which I'm sure she'll do. Especially the theme is her fave show. I love that toy that you got. Sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read the article about the pizza bowls. I'm a huge pizza fan, I could eat it all day long. I also hope people will RSVP for Natalie's birthday party and Happy Birthday Natalie!
ReplyDeleteRSVPing in an event sometimes a hard thing to do as well. I don't know if people understand the reason behind people organizing a party is doing this. I hope you ease the pain of preparing for her party though.
ReplyDeleteI have sent my girls to read a book countless of times. They don't say they are bored that much anymore. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this. My mom was also like that when my brother and I were kiddos if we told her we had nothing to do she said you could always organize and she would say something and if we made any sort of protest she would say better yet, yeah go do that now next time you have nothing to do think twice. Looking back it I laugh. Oh and greys anatomy I know, WHAT.. I like April and I honestly thought her and jackson would get back together.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great post. That Pooparoos looks perfect gift for my niece. I bet she gonna loves it in her birthday. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI've only been to Olive Garden ONCE in my life but girlllllllllll what I got was BOMB and I love the unlimited Salad situation! Now you have me wanting to go back! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt (has to be) is okay that we had pizza for dinner twice this week.
ReplyDeleteIt needs to be kay at some point for me to go get a pedicure; sometime very soon.
I used to watch Grey's Anatomy but lost interest when McDreamy got axed lol. I can't even remember Arizona or April.
ReplyDeleteNew pizza bowls? Sign me up -I'd love to try those as well. That toy is hilarious. I never saw it but I bet my kids would love it lol!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Love this post! I think we will be trying the new pizza bowls too :)
ReplyDeleteThe "it's ok" idea is just genius: we put so much pressure on ourselves...
Thanks!
haha, Pooparoos! I'll RVSP here. We would love to come to the party! (in our dreams)
ReplyDeleteI am behind with Grey's but they totally did change April. I really thought for awhile that she'd wind up with Jackson. NOPE.
This post is so awesome! I want to make a list like this too lol. I find myself doing a few of those myself.
ReplyDeleteOlive Garden for lunch is always a great idea! I bet the kiddo's loved that!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have purchased many toys for my son that were more for my amusement. And this post seriously makes me feel better about my parenting. We're a lot alike it seems and it's okay!
ReplyDeleteI don't think people know what RSVP-ing is these days. So rude!! And I hope more than 3 people come!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a pizza fan, and really want to read the article about the pizza bowls. By the way I love the toy.
ReplyDeleteThe rule of RSVP nowadays is exhausting, even for blogging / media events. The worst is someone doing a scene because she/he forgot to RSVP and still want to join the event. Headaches galore.
ReplyDeleteHaha...good roundup this week! I showed my sister your Walking Dead comment, because she is SUCH a fan. I’ve never really been able to get into it.
ReplyDeleteII looooove pizza! I really want to read the article about the pizza bowls. Love the toy too!
ReplyDeletePooparoo is such a funny gift. I always RSVP when I need too.
