I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to have wanted Ross to win Celebrity Big Brother, but I'm still happy with the winner.
.....to be looking forward to the Japanese fashion show I'm attending with my mom and daughter this week!
....to be glad that all my TV shows are finally returning! It feels like I've been waiting forever for some.
....to not really care what happened to Carl on The Walking Dead. Maybe I'm too emotionally drained from Jack dying in This Is Us.
....to be glad McDonald's finally released the Szechwan Sauce! Remember a few months ago how they had some but they didn't have enough and people got pissed? (Click here to see my story about that!) Well, now they're making it right and yes, it's tasty. I still prefer honey with my nuggets though, but this was a nice change.
That fashion show sounds like such a neat experience! I hope you share about it!
ReplyDeleteI remember your post on the sauce, glad it’s back and have fun at the fashion show so jealous
ReplyDeleteA japanese fashion show sounds cool. I have never been to a fashion show of any kind before, but have always wanted to.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad my TV shows are back on too. And I'm about caught up with This Is Us. After months of my grown kids telling me it was a must-watch, I finally started at the beginning on Hulu and I'm almost caught up. Love that show!
ReplyDeleteTv and been a big bust here lately, seems like all we do is flip channels looking for something interesting to watch. Ready for spring here tired of the cold winter.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest has been waiting to try that Szechwan Sauce since the limited release fiasco a couple of months ago. I'm also glad that some of the shows I watch are coming back from the break.
ReplyDeleteWait. Jack died?! I have only just started watching, lol. I need to try that Szechwan sauce - looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited regular shows are back too!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love the "it's okay" idea. I think its a great mindset to have. I am sad I can't watch my american shows here in the UK. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since I watched TWD! I don't even know what's happening anymore. I hope you have fun on that fashion show you're attending. Kudos to McDonald's for doing it right this time!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what BIG BROTHER is all about - ha! But I have to tell you that I used to be really good friends with Ross Matthews.
ReplyDeleteI need to get back on watching This is Us I neglected it after a while can't remember why and the sauce does sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteI found a lot of shows already had their finales. In the winter?? Lazy.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad programmes are starting to come back - we don't really do mid-season breaks over here so it's odd in some ways still getting used to the American schedule (we always used to get everything so long after you even your shows didn't have one) now we run a week or two behind we do get them.
ReplyDeleteI have a few TV shows that are coming back soon and I am sooo ready! I like this idea of sharing things that are ok, I can relate to a lot of them. It is a fun post!
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of the show, The Walking Dead, but its okay! :) I am also glad that the Szechuan sauce is back. I love it! Another reason to take a side trip to McDonalds' today.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I loved watching the Olympics, I am super excited for my shows to be back on, too. My hubby and I love opening a bottle of wine and watching a show together.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at the japanese fashion show! it must be fun! I haven't been able to get into walking dead for some reason LOl and most of my friends love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad O is off CBB. I want Ross to win as well. He has the best personality and he's such fun to watch. Now about the return of McD's Szechuan sauce,I did get a chance to try it over the summer. It was pretty tasty.
ReplyDeleteSaw a bunch of posts about that sauce from McDonald’s. Interesting how things can go viral like that. Hope you have a great time at the Japanese fashion show!
ReplyDeleteI've seen so many people talking about this sauce. I'm going to have to try Szechwan Sauce it sounds great.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea, and it's cool to see all the things you're happy about. Always a good thing to reflect on.
ReplyDeleteI want to try the Szechwan Sauce just to see what the fuss is about. I am glad they are bringing it back.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try that sauce out. The Japanese fashion show sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI would so love to check out the Japanese fashion show and am also glad my shows are back! I didn't know anyone else watched Celeb BB, and, yes, of those two, Ross should have won.
ReplyDeleteThis phrase is uplifting in a way, especially when you are consoling and empathizing with someone. So, it really okay! :)
ReplyDeleteA Japanese fashion show sounds like something I would love! I hope you all enjoy it. I'm not currently following any shows, but I do remember that feeling from past years.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I've kind of been waiting on Carl to die. BRAVO to the actor though! I heard he quit because he's going to college!
ReplyDeleteYour photo made me want chicken nuggets! I'm excited about the new sauce as well. Reminds of a classic show.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely okay to be excited about a Japanese fashion show and the comeback of the Szechwan sauce. After all the hyper and marketing from McDonald's I'm glad I can finally try it. There are endless food franchise opportunities when it comes to sauces to try. I've never had honey with my nugs, but I would definitely appreciate the sweetness.
ReplyDeleteWhen I found out the demise of Carl, I couldn't watch any more of the Walking Dead lol. At some point I will since I did buy the entire season on Amazon Prime. You've got a great list as always.
ReplyDeleteHa! Someone posted on Facebook about the Szechuan sauce and I thought of your previous post. I think a trip to Mickey D's is in order. The fashion show sounds like fun! We quit TWD when Glenn died, but we may end up finishing the series some day just out of curiosity.
ReplyDeleteA Japanese fashion show?!?! That sounds intriguing!
ReplyDeleteAlot of these actually sound pretty fun. Living in Japan I have never seen a fashion show but would love to.
ReplyDeleteOf course it’s always good to have an opportunity to bond with your mom and daugther. That Japanse show is a nice way to be with them. Enjoy!!!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how long does McDonald’s have the sauce?? We were so upset they didn’t have any local to us last time, I’d love to get it!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, laughing at the return of favourite TV programmes. I'm the same. IT felt like they all finished sometime in Nov and are only just returning - soo exciting!
ReplyDeleteSzechwan Sauce? I didn't even hear about this. It's like I'm living under a pile of dirty diapers and laundry... oh, wait...
ReplyDeleteJapanese fashion show? Omg i am literally excited for you! Share lots of pics, okay?
ReplyDeleteI had to chec again this post about the McDonalds sauce. It's not yet available here in my location. Szechwan Sauce sounds interesting. I would love to try that. Hopefully it will also be available here.
ReplyDeleteI love these types of post. I've been waiting for my TV shows to return too! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow sechzwan sauce would seriously love to try it.. I don't think it's available in India
