I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to have loved Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The rest of my family did as well!
....to be going to stay with my parents for a few days this week. We do this because we like to make cookies together. Plus we're going to The Melting Pot one night. Yum!
....to watch 90 Day Fiance on TLC with my jaw open most of the time. I can't believe some of these people.
....to be going to see The Greatest Showman when we're with my parents. Mom, Natalie, and I will be seeing it. The boys aren't interested. Too much singing. Whatever. Their loss!
....to almost be done wrapping presents. Almost. I just have a few more.
....to have thought it was cool that Santa came through the neighborhood on a fire truck:

When you come to Dallas or I come your way, we have a Melting Pot date! No one wlll go with me lol!!
ReplyDeleteI love that santa came through your neighborhood like that! So fun!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen the Last Jedi yet. I was waiting for the crowds to die down a little because I hate crowds :)
ReplyDeleteFor the next few weekends everyone will be going to see Star Wars. Haven't seen it yet. Letting the crowd die down before we attend.
ReplyDeleteWe're going to see Star Wars Friday night and I'm almost done wrapping presents. And, hey, it's OK that I actually paid my daughter to come wrap presents for me last Saturday. She didn't want to take the money but I insisted. LOL (I hid her gifts in a different room)
ReplyDeleteSo true, I'm with you when it comes to 90 day fiance really shocks me to what happens in those shows.
ReplyDelete90 Day Fiance is my reality tv guilty pleasure. I have a love hate relationship with the show. On one hand I'm like "really" and on the other I am like "REALLY". Crazy. Oh and I am so not finished wrapping gifts yet. I loathe gift bags but I may have to get a few.
ReplyDeleteStar Wars was a little TOO long for me - ha! And I am not the BIGGEST Star Wars fan to begin with so I might not be the best person to ask about the movie! LOL. I am glad you liked it though!
ReplyDeleteHey, its Okay to record one Lifetime movie after another so that I can watch them while on my Treadclimer LOL!
ReplyDeleteSanta stopped by our house this past weekend. he was on a fire truck and he brought our Christmas tree with him. It was terrific.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Star Wars really bad! I can't say that I am a super fan but I do like Star Wars. I will be taking my kiddos to see it hopefully in the next week or two.
ReplyDeleteThat 90 day fiance is addictive I tell ya. I don't have cable, but was watching it while on a business trip and couldn't turn it off! 2am later...haha.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to make this a monthly/quarterly link up for next year?
ReplyDeleteHa ha! That 90 day fiancee I like that TV show. I thought I was the only one who addictive to that show. Of course the Happily ever after. Good to know I am not the only one.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, I love reading these in magazines. I also think it would be cool to see Santa on a fire truck!!
ReplyDeleteThat is SUPER cool that Santa came through the neighborhood on a fire truck! My kids would have LOVED that!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the melting pot. Such a wonderful night out and so much fun. And that is quite the entrance for Santa.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're almost done wrapping your presents! I haven't even started shopping yet. Every year, I say that next year I won't wait until Christmas eve to start shopping, and the next year I procrastinate all over again.
ReplyDeleteI was the same the first time I watched 90 day fiance too, it is crazy isn't it. I am jealous you've almost done with wrapping when I am yet to get the presents lol
ReplyDeleteI have yet to eat at the Melting Pot - have fun! I can't wait to go, my husband and I are very overdue for a date night.. you'll have to tell us about it!
ReplyDeleteStar Wars the last Jedi was great movie for me too! Yum! Melting pot sounds really good haven't been so long time maybe it's time!
ReplyDeleteWe went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi on opening night. It was amazing! I am hooked on 90 Day Fiance as well. I can not believe these people lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun that the fire truck with Santa comes through. Our neighborhood did that in Philly. Kiddos loved it!
ReplyDeleteI love that Santa Claus came through on a fire truck. My kids would have loved to see that when they were little.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Sounds like you have a close knit family or at least you try to make sure you family has activities to do together. Thats really great.
ReplyDeleteSanta on a fire truck, so cool! I want to see Santa too in the most unexpected place!
ReplyDeleteI've been kind of curious about "The Greatest Showman". I do want to see the new Star Wars at some point as well.
ReplyDeleteMy son is nine! I bet he would love it if Santa rode through our neighborhood on a fire truck!
ReplyDeleteMy family can't wait to see the new Star Wars film. We will wait to see it when the crowds die down a bit. I think I have seen Santa on a fire truck. I think it is cool. Maybe the sleigh needed some maintenance.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see the Last Jedi. Maybe not right away, but definitely seeing it. I've seen every other Star Wars movie. I've heard some bad reviews, but they're from superfans, lol, they always have something negative to say.
ReplyDeleteIt is more than OK to see Star Wars-The Last Jedi and that is what we are going to do over the weekend. Also it is ok to see a dozen Santa's in the shopping Malls.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun idea! Today I'm trying to feel ok about the fact that I haven't wrapped any Christmas gifts yet.. eek! Hopefully tonight. Hopefully!

ReplyDeleteI just saw "The Last Jedi" last night and loved it. I especially love all of the strong female leads in the Star Wars series now. Girl POWER!
ReplyDeleteThe Melting Pot AND cookies? That sounds like a great reason to stay with family! I hope both are wonderful!
