I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to be excited that I'm going to see The Justice League with my family this weekend. We like super heroes!
....to have gone to At Home to buy some Christmas decorations, and so did most of Texas. The line was crazy.
....to not be putting any Christmas decorations up until after Thanksgiving. It feels too weird to have them up before then. But I have some ready to go!
....to be amused when I watch 90 Day Fiance. You can so tell some of these people are using the US people for a green card.
....to have eaten so many rolls when we went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch. I'll never be one of these no carb people.
.....to be proud of my daughter for auditioning for her school play. She was nervous because there were over 100 people in the room. But she did it. (And yes, she is sporting a unicorn hat from Despicable Me.)
Aw I hope she gets the role she wants!!
ReplyDeleteI could never live without carbs, that's a terrible life to live well unless you have to. haha.
ReplyDeleteI am super excited to see the Justice league, too. It's going to be awesome. Hope you guys enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I hope your daughter get the part she wants! We are excited to see the new Justice League too!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for your daughter! I do have my Christmas decor up because I have a sponsored Christmas Tree post due tomorrow and hey, it's OK. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe are leaving for three weeks so I went ahead and put Christmas up. Don’t have donit when I return.
ReplyDeleteMy family will want to see the movie too. We are obsessed with the ride at Six Flags!
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the play!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the movies that are family really wants to see. How can it be bad with all of those characters in it. I can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I hope that your daughter gets the role. I'd actually love to go see a movie. There just isn't really anything out right now that strikes my fancy. Ohhh, we totally have decorations up! :-)
ReplyDeleteFinger crossed for your daughter! If she doesnt get the role she wanted are there other roles? Personally no carbs a few days does make my tummy feel so much more "relief". But belive me I love carbs!
ReplyDeleteLol, I will never be a no carb person too. She did a great job!!I love that the audience clapped with her. I'm not putting up Christmas until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing no carbs right now just for 30 days and it is SO hard... I don't think I'll ever want to do it again! Congrats to your daughter for having the courage to audition in front of all those people!
ReplyDeleteNatalie has a pretty good singing voice
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your daughter. I know it can be tough to audition or even speak in front of large crowds. Kudos to her for doing it!
ReplyDeleteI hope your daughter gets the part she wants. Doing an audition in front of so many people is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteStay positive! She just might get it. Never know what may happen or what may come!
ReplyDeleteWe have Christmas all over our house already. There was something major going on every weekend between now and December 3rd so we just did it.
ReplyDeleteI saw an advert for The Justice League earlier and made my other half laugh so hard as we had just been watching the flash and I turned around and said that's not my Barry Allen. Enjoy the movie I hope it is good :)
ReplyDeleteHow awesome, keeping my fingers crossed for her.. I could NEVER have done that at her age. Or now, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed your daughter gets the part she wants in the play. I love Texas Roadhouse rolls.
ReplyDeleteChristmas decorations are already up in our house, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I still have to get my decorations out of storage! It's not going to be fun. It's awesome that your daughter tried out for the play!
ReplyDeleteIt has always been a family tradition to pickup our tree and decorations a day after Thanksgiving. This year I put up my Christmas desk tree already.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud your daughter tried out for the play. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there.
ReplyDeleteGrear it’s great idea! I live family movies time a lot as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm holding off on Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving as well. We are cutting down our tree on Black Friday instead of shopping and I couldn't be happier!
ReplyDeleteWe love superheroes too and hell yeah it's okay . We don't have thanksgiving in South Africa but we put the tree much later though. Awesome post
ReplyDeleteI am putting up decorations after the first of December. I have a toddler so it will be limited this year but that's OK.
ReplyDeleteNice post.Having one of the largest users in the world on its platform, it is no less than fallible to some common errors for which

Fingers crossed she gets the part that she wants, definitely too early for Christmas decorations so I'm with you on that one
ReplyDeleteI watched a few episodes of 90 Day Fiance and its funny and sad at the same time. Also yes please wait until after Thanksgiving for Holiday decor its definitely ok!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on not putting holiday decorations until after Thanksgiving. I feel like every holiday needs to have it's own time. :)
ReplyDeleteNice post! I live family movies time a lot as well.
ReplyDeleteAwww.... Your post put a smile on my face - it's really okay to live life and be who you are! Imagine that? Seeing your daughter shine brighter than the stars!! <3
ReplyDeleteAwww Justice League, I can not wait to see it either and congrats to Natalie for auditioning.
ReplyDeleteIt's totally ok to not put up Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving! I never do!
ReplyDeleteThe lines at AT HOME. UGH! Them and Home Goods always have the craziest lines. Worth it thought for all the fun stuff and deals you get.
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't celebrate the holidays, I agree, I think it's totally weird to skip ahead of Thanksgiving and have Xmas decor out before the turkey is even cooked! Shoot, I saw decorations out at Hobby Lobby back in July or August!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I could never be a no-carb person eitehr!
ReplyDeleteOh man - she's so brave! And her voice sounds beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Justice League. You'll have to tell me how it is!
LOL, i'm with you on the rolls - I am such a carb lover. I like gluten?! ;) Also, we kept our thanksgiving and fall decor up longer this year and won't be putting any christmas stuff out til this week because it just didn't seem like thanksgiving got any love decoration-wise at the stores! :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing post.
